The Springwood District Dog Training Club has been in operation since 1993. The Club offers dog training sessions and trials in Agility and Obedience, all in Lomatia Park at Springwood.

Club History
The Springwood District Dog Training Club has been in operation since 1993. The club affiliated with the Royal NSW Canine Council in 1994.
The club offers to its members instruction from qualified Instructors (who offer their services free to the club), their knowledge stems from years of involvement with Dog trialing and Dog Clubs. The instructors in our club have various titles to their credit ranging from, State title winners, the highest obedience awards possible, and years of breeding and understanding various breeds of dog.
The club provides a service to its members enabling them to control their dogs and to teach the dogs to be a respected member of our community.
Training Grounds
Lomatia Park is an ideal training ground.
The park is located north of Springwood and is not bordered by major roads, making this a quiet safe area for both handlers and dogs. Lomatia Park is a fully fenced oval with all the essential facilities (including parking area).

General Meetings
General Meetings – 3rd Tuesday of every month (except December) at Red Cross Hall, Macquarie Road, Springwood commencing 7:30pm. All welcome.
Annual General Meeting – last Thursday in August at Lomatia Park Clubhouse, commencing 7:30pm. All welcome. View 2024’s AGM information here
